Angelo @ commerce – page 2 cost of gas vs electric stove

I had allen’s former kicker…The best in their history….Going to transfer to ASU from arkansas. This young man was also a punter avg 50+ yards a punt. Coach told him best he could guarantee was a walk on. LMAO! WHAT??? We lost several games the next year because of our kicking game/lack thereof our punter sucked!!! (before fat punters time at ASU).

Any way….Its like beating a dead horse. Rac route planner with fuel costs I gave up.This is not surprising at all, actually. My brother is an ASU alum and currently the head athletic trainer for a high school in the centex area. His school was in the district for years that won the state championship for about 4 or 5 straight years. He ran with that group of cedar park, georgetown high, etc… He had one kid who was committed to ASU and then at the last minute backed out to go JUCO (he thought he was D1 material) and ever since then he has not been able to get as much as a return email saying they aren’t interested.

Again, not saying he knows everything about everything, but he has seen enough athletes in his days with ASU and since he has left to know what type of kid could succeed at this level. It is mind blowing. Gas cost for a road trip he had another guy who wanted to come to ASU, he was going to be pre-med and was not going to cost much of a scholarship at all due to his academic prowess. He was 1st team all state his senior of high school. The kid, my brother, and the head coach all called and told the ASU staff that basically all they had to do was offer a spot and he was theirs, but a coach never even stepped foot on his campus. He went on to UTSA and started as a true freshman at LT (until injuries got him). Unreal!

Here is to hoping that the new staff can repair some relationships with coaches and people in the know. This staff has burned a lot of bridges recently. How much will it cost in gas I know at one time, ASU had more alums as head football coaches than any other university in the state and yet we can’t create or maintain pipelines with these guys to send us first shot at their fringe D1 kids.
