Chris Flisher Summer continues to unfold – News – The Beacon – Acton, MA

The activity of the summer continues to unfold. Mercury, now retrograde, pairs up with the Sun and Moon late in the week on a new Moon Solar Eclipse. This is the last eclipse of the season and follows two earlier eclipses; another new Moon eclipse and then a full Moon eclipse late in July. With Mercury involved in this current one we can imagine heightened rhetoric and a string of questionable accounts of the past. In this capacity, fake news and theories about it, may hit an all-time high. Jupiter, in Scorpio, is in a harmonious angle to Neptune and that signals an amplification of illusion. As we creep closer to the truth we can expect to hear more of this kind of distracting commentary coming from the highest office. To further complicate and delude, we see Jupiter standing in harsh angle to the Moon, Sun, and Mercury all in conjunction currently in Leo.

Together these planets may take the reality of truth and spin it out of control. Distraction is a powerful tool and can be quite effective in slanting our collective attention spans. Mercury in retrograde simply pours fuel on the fire and further amplifies the confusion.
